Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 21, 2026

1. Our commitment

Case Management Solutions LLC is committed to making the CaseMgmt platform accessible to people with disabilities. We believe healthcare technology should be usable by everyone who needs it, regardless of ability. This statement describes our current accessibility commitment, what we've done so far, known limitations, and how to contact us with accessibility concerns.

2. Conformance target

We aim for our platform to substantially conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. There are three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA. Level AA is the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

3. Accessibility features deployed

The following accessibility features are currently implemented in the CaseMgmt platform:

  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements can be reached and operated via keyboard alone (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, Arrow keys)
  • Semantic HTML: Proper use of headings, landmarks, lists, tables, and form labels for screen reader compatibility
  • Color contrast: Text meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Resizable text: User-selectable font size preference (saved per browser) without breaking layout
  • Focus indicators: Visible focus rings on all interactive elements
  • Form labels: Every form input has an associated label; error messages are programmatically associated with their fields
  • Alternative text: Meaningful images include descriptive alt text
  • No keyboard traps: Modal dialogs and dropdowns can be exited via Escape
  • Screen reader testing: Core workflows tested with VoiceOver (macOS) and NVDA (Windows)
  • Responsive design: Platform usable on screens from 320px wide up to 4K displays
  • Light/dark mode: User-selectable theme to reduce eye strain

4. Known limitations

We are transparent about areas we know need improvement. The following are known accessibility limitations as of the date of this statement:

  • Rich text editor: The TipTap-based rich text editor used for case notes and progress notes has limited screen-reader support for some formatting toolbar buttons. Plain-text alternative input is being scoped.
  • Video calling: Live video calls via Amazon Chime SDK rely on the underlying SDK's accessibility features. Closed captions are available via the call transcription feature after the call ends.
  • PDF documents: Some generated PDFs (CMS-1500 forms, medical release forms) are produced using fillable PDF templates that may have limited accessibility tags. We are evaluating accessible PDF generation tools.
  • Complex data tables: Some report tables (billing summaries, patient lists) do not yet have complete row/column header associations for screen readers.
  • Mobile keyboard navigation: Touch-screen keyboard navigation on mobile devices is less complete than desktop keyboard support.

We are actively addressing these limitations in our development roadmap.

5. Assistive technology compatibility

The CaseMgmt platform is designed to work with current versions of the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
  • Magnification: Browser zoom up to 200%, ZoomText, macOS Zoom
  • Voice control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, macOS Voice Control
  • Switch access: Common switch interfaces via keyboard emulation

We recommend using the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge for the best accessibility experience.

6. Reporting accessibility issues

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our platform, please let us know. We treat accessibility issues with high priority.

Accessibility feedback:

Email: accessibility@casemgmt.io

Web: https://casemgmt.io/contact

When reporting an issue, please include:

  • The page URL where you encountered the problem
  • A description of the barrier
  • Your operating system, browser, and assistive technology (if relevant)

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days and address verified barriers within 30 days.

7. Formal complaints

If you believe an issue has not been adequately addressed, you have the right to file a formal complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice under the Americans with Disabilities Act, or with the equivalent body in your jurisdiction. We commit to working in good faith to resolve any accessibility concern before escalation becomes necessary.

8. Continuous improvement

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We commit to:

  • Annual accessibility audit of the platform against WCAG 2.1 Level AA
  • Accessibility review as part of every new feature design
  • Developer training on inclusive design
  • Annual update of this statement to reflect current state
