The text didn't send

What each texting error means and what to do instead.

Who can do this: Admin, Nurse Case Manager, Internal Case Manager, Billing Staff

Email always works

When a text is refused, CaseMgmt offers to send the same link by email. See How texting works for consent and limits.

If something goes wrong

“No text consent on file for this number.”
The patient hasn't agreed to texts yet. Ask them from the Text messages card on the patient's Overview, or send by email.
“This patient replied STOP. They must reply START before they can get texts.”
Only the patient can turn texts back on, by texting START. Send by email meanwhile.
“Texting is turned off for your company.”
Ask your Admin to contact support. Forms and signature requests can still go by email.
“That phone number can't receive texts.”
Check the mobile number on the patient's file.
“The same text went to this number in the last 10 minutes.”
It already went out. Ask the patient to check their messages.
“Your company reached its daily text limit. Use email for now.”
The limit counts the last 24 hours. Send by email for now and text again later.
“Your company reached its texting limit for this billing period. Use email, or ask us to raise the limit.”
Use email, or email admin@casemgmt.io to raise the limit.
