What “Access Restricted” means and how to fix it

When a trial or subscription has ended, CaseMgmt locks every page except Subscription and My Settings.

Last updated October 22, 2026

Who can do this: Everyone on your team

What you see

A lock and Access Restricted in place of the page, with one of these messages: “Your free trial has expired. Please subscribe to continue using CaseMgmt.”, “Your subscription has ended. Please resubscribe to regain access.” or “Your subscription is paused. Email admin@casemgmt.io to resume it.”

Everyone in your company sees it. Administration > Subscription and My Settings still open. Your data is kept.

How to fix it

Admins: click Manage Subscription. After a free trial or an ended subscription, click Add card & subscribe, enter a card at Stripe, and access comes back as soon as the payment page finishes. A pause is set by CaseMgmt (no charges while paused): email admin@casemgmt.io to resume it.

Not an Admin? Ask your Admin; only Admins can change the subscription.

Warnings before a lock

A yellow bar appears in the last 3 days of a free trial when no paid subscription is set up yet. A red bar appears when a payment fails. Each bar has a Manage Subscription link.

After an Admin cancels, a yellow bar counts down the days of access that are left (“Your subscription has been canceled. Access expires in …”). Everyone keeps full access until then.
