What to do if you suspect a security problem

Lock the account, check the patient's audit log and email support marked URGENT.

Who can do this: Everyone on your team

Steps

  1. If someone else could know a password, reset it now with Forgot password?. Signing in with the new password signs out any other device using the account.
  2. If a staff member's login is at risk or they have left, an Admin clicks Deactivate in Administration > Users. The login stops working at once.
  3. Admins: check the patient's Audit Log tab to see who changed what.
  4. Email admin@casemgmt.io with URGENT in the subject. Say what happened, when, and which logins are involved. Don't put patient details in the email.

Tips

  • Never share a login. Each person needs their own, so the audit trail shows who did what.
