Referrals sent through the portal land on your Referrals list with the status New. Ones that arrive by phone, fax or email are typed in by your staff, so every referral is in the same place.
Each referral is credited to the Law Firm that sent it and to the person who referred it, so reports can show where your work comes from.
A portal your referral partners will use

- Partners send a referral online with the patient's details, insurance and legal representation.

From referral to case without retyping
Open a referral to see everything that was sent and keep internal notes. Accept Referral, then Create Case: CaseMgmt makes the patient file and the case together from the referral's details, ready for a nurse to be assigned.
Statuses move from New to Accepted, Assigned, In Progress, Completed or Closed, and some change by themselves as the case moves on.
Filter, sort and export
Narrow the referral list by status, law firm, person or date, and download it as a spreadsheet. Referral reports show volume by status, source, urgency and referrer.
How a referral becomes a case
- 1An attorney signs in to the portal and submits the referral.
- 2It appears on your Referrals list as New.
- 3Your team reviews it and clicks Accept Referral; the attorney sees the new status.
- 4Create Case makes the patient file and the case, and you assign the nurse.
Questions
Do referral partners cost extra?
No. Referral Staff logins for attorneys, adjusters and other partners are free on every plan, and there's no limit on how many you add.
Can a referral partner see other firms' patients?
No. A referral partner sees only the referrals they sent and where each one stands. They never see your staff screens.
What about referrals that come by phone or fax?
Your staff add them on the Referrals list with + New Referral, so every referral is tracked in one place.
